Kaitlyn Hatch Brand Consultant

ABOUT

Early in 2014 the Director of Communications & Fundraising announced that we would be taking the Charity on the road to bring it to civil servants where they live and work throughout the UK. The project involved a multitude of tasks and the project management, design & delivery of all the marketing materials was assigned to me as the Brand Development Manager.

I was to ensure the timely delivery of all printed materials, to obtain quotes and organise the ordering of all promotional merchandise and to come up with an eye-catching design for the wrap we would be having on the bus that would take the Charity around the country.

The brief for the bus wrap was incredibly loose: Come up with something that conveys how we help people but won't be obviously about civil servants so it doesn't get egged.

For the bus design I chose to go with a selection of actual quotes from the people the Charity had helped in the past year. I put huge emphasis on the (at the time) new brand colours for the Charity by wrapping the front of the bus in the distinctive rhomboid shape from the logo.

The end result was a brilliant, eye catching vehicle which the Board of Trustees was impressed with.

All the other materials (print and merchandise) were also delivered on time and to spec, well within the timeline given.
