Introducing the Inside Out Awards™ 2020 Judging panel

We are delighted to announce this year’s Inside Out Awards™ Judging panel.  We have worked hard to select a diverse team of judges with a range of knowledge, experience and skills.

Our expert Judges all hold senior positions, are highly experienced within their area of expertise and have a positive profile within the industry.

This year’s distinguished panel are:

Graham Daldry is ex-Creative Director at Specsavers Creative in Guernsey. Heading up the UK’s largest in house advertising agency, he has worked in advertising for over 30 years following a brief academic career at University of Liverpool and University of Wales. Starting at TBWA Manchester and BRAHM in Leeds he worked at O&M in London before joining Specsavers in 1999. He has won industry awards for TV, press and posters throughout his career, and was the creator of the long running ‘Should’ve gone to Specsavers’ campaign.

Paul Hewitt is currently permalancing at tech giant Google, leading creative and working with marketers to tell better stories. He was featured in The Hospital Club 100 for his writing for TV and stage alongside actor John Boyega, grime artist Skepta and Google marketer, Nishma Robb. Paul has written and spoken on creativity for The Drum, Virgin, Immediate Future, Karmarama, BIMA and the DMA.

Lara Groves is Creative Specialist at LEGO Group where she leads integrated campaign work for the EMEA region. With a background in conceptual creative and copywriting, Lara has led creative teams on brand positioning, integrated campaigns and experiential projects for brands including Ford Motor Company, MoneySuperMarket, BBC Top Gear and Exterion Media.   Also a proud ’Super Momma’ mentor, with the ‘Who’s Your Momma?’ mentoring programme from SheSays, Lara’s passion is to empower others in the industry – and she’s delighted to be joining this year’s celebration of the very best of the UK’s in-house creative teams. 

Alessandra Di Lorenzo is CEO at Forward, lastminute.com’s new independent media company. Alessandra has previously held positions at  eBay Advertising, Vodafone and Yahoo, with a focus on mobile marketing and data-driven commercial and product development.  Alessandra’s accolades include Winner of the 2019 Women in Marketing Change Maker Award. Named: 25 of 25 women who shaped the digital industry and featured on the 100 digital influencers in the Drum Digerati. With this experience of winning Awards, we are sure her insight will be most valuable to the panel.

Malin Persson is Senior Product Marketing Manager at Adobe. Having previously led global projects with partners such as Microsoft, Getty Images, Viber, Deliveroo, WeTransfer, Cannes Lions and giffgaff, Malin has gained extensive knowledge in areas such as strategic brand development, go-to-market strategies, commercial development, program development, and community management.

Robert Berkeley is the host of Inside Jobs podcast and co-founder and CEO of Express KCS, an independent global provider of creative production solutions across digital, video, print and packaging. Robert started his career implementing large-scale creative workflow systems and was VP at PrintCafe inc (now EFI) for three years. He is also founder and chairman of Linkz-IM, a connected image technology company. Throughout his career, he has worked with publishers, agencies and marketers, helping them solve and overcome their creative operations challenges. Robert brings many years’ experience and a unique perspective to the Judging panel and we are delighted to have him on board again.

Horacio Herrera-Richmond is the Senior Creative Manager at blood cancer charity Anthony Nolan, leading the Creative Studio team of eight Copywriters and Designers on a wide range of print and digital campaigns.  He has over 20 years’ experience designing for charities like the Refugee Council, UNICEF, Mencap, Shelter, Barnardo’s as well as in other sectors such as wayfinding, architecture , music, arts and culture.

Katie Leeman, Executive Creative Director at MYWW™ brings us over 20 years’ experience in the design industry specialising in branding, product launches and experiential. Her unique understanding of brands and their strategic potential has allowed her to work on an array of clients, ranging from tech and finance through to alcohol and beauty products. Katie is currently the Executive Creative Director at MYWW™, where she delivers exceptional strategy and creative ideas for clients such as Google, Aviva, Chargifi, MWM and Wilton & Bain. We are so grateful for Katies continued support and are thrilled that she will once again skilfully review all our entries.
