Here is an excerpt from a post on basicrooneys, a small blog I run and write in the style of a former professional footballer/manager turned pundit. I use wordpress which has since taught me the basics of using html and markdown.

There is no disputing the fact that in the British media there is an obsessive desperation for the Premier League to be widely accepted as the best league in the world. Guardiola has highlighted this by pointing out how he is incessantly questioned on his thoughts about the league and where it ranks in comparison to the Bundesliga and La Liga.
The real truth is that quality-wise the Premier League is not the best in the world, but this does not stop the old and tired expression; “anyone can beat anyone in this league,” coming left, right and centre anytime a team like Burnley edges a 1-0 home win against a top-half side.
