Reading modern-day journalism in our day and age can quite often be a painful process, even more so with the increasingly daunting and depressing subjects being released by the day. For this very reason, I decided to create a modern tabloid size newspaper that only focuses on the good, happy, and thoughtful stories from around the world. I did this by combining my knowledge of hand-written brush typography and photo collages to create tongue-in-cheek spreads portraying the rare but needed happiness in todays society.
