Unreal and Megascans used to realize Syd Mead’s iconic Hyper van concept art. Work featured on TheRookiesCO.
I wanted to test Unreal raytracing features and get a head start with Nanite tech. I sculpted the wall assets in 3DCoat as I enjoy working in voxels when doing concept design work. I took the voxel assets into Zbrush for Zremesher pass and did quick UVs in 3Ds Max. Used Quixel foliage, statues and surfaces. Created water and other materials, setup scene lighting fully raytraced and used unreal custom variables to fully utilize the raytracing features.
