What needed doing
Two native New Yorker’s met in culinary school over 10 years ago and developed a shared vision for a restaurant with a mission to ‘bring food back to normal’. Over a lifetime watching their city commercially develop, they wanted to create an approachable, community-oriented restaurant in a Brooklyn neighborhood. The partners approached us to articulate their brand story and design a considered, simple and beautiful identity that represented the exceptional level of craft that they place in every dish.
How we went about it
The brandmark instantly conveys the purity of their ingredients and subtly nods to local ingredients and community dining. The identity is genuine rustic and sophisticated urban to mirror the ethos of the partners.
