I was inspired by the book "Atoms to Patterns". For the windows I chose to enlarge the Haemoglobin/blood cell dress fabric pattern, by Barlow & Jones Ltd for the Festival of Britain 1952.

During the spring I covered all of the columns in the shop and the great/extrance hall with large scale patterned fabric. For Christmas I "wrapped" them with even more fabric as if new patterns were being unveiled.
