ABOUT
The V&A "British Design" project ran for the duration of 2012. There are 3 window changes during this period - each with a new VM layout.
I began by researching an archive of over 5000 images from the Archive and focuses on those used in the exhibition itself. We re-scanned, retouched (as little as possible) and resized over 32 original fabrics from the archives, then researched a number of innovative substrates with Surface View. All of the marble columns in the main Museum entrance hall were applied using fabric on a tension system so that no adhesive was used. Happy to see this work was also featured on the BBC.
The fabric was repurposed in The V&A building in Shenzen, China.
The AW - Christmas images are in a separate project folder.
