ABOUT

THE BACKGROUND
Silvercrow are a south London based, family run property development business with over 100 properties in their portfolio. This project was a small development of bespoke apartments in the heart of Crystal Palace, London, for which they wanted an identity and sales brochure.

THE SOLUTION
I researched the local area, the history of The Crystal Palace, and the name of the development before putting pencil to paper to sketch some concepts.

Blending the developments name (‘Sylvan” means ‘consisting of or abounding in woods or trees’) with the rich history of just how the area became known as Crystal Palace, I adapted
the window patterns from the original Crystal Palace to create an abstract tree crown,
using several colours in a random pattern to represent the light and shade in a tree canopy.

Elements of the logo were then used throughout the brochure. I worked closely with a CGI specialist and a copywriter to create a ‘look book’ feel and allow the property images to take centre stage.

Site hoardings were also designed, carrying the identity and CGI images of the finished apartments.
