Exhibition: Under the African Sun
Ann Mary Gollifer, internationally recognised African artist will be showcasing her work this August in London. She is bringing together prints and paintings from her old and new collections as one featured exhibition.

Ann’s current collection explores various mediums and concepts spanning back 10 years. She comes to terms with her place within the land that has embraced her, feeling within and without.

“Someone who lives outside all possible social contexts, free, independent, unshaped by any particular environment, but shaped by internal growth and living experience.”

She shares her personal influences Bessie Head, as well as her personal experiences within the vastness of life within Botswana. Ann has also co-authored two books on traditional Botswana art in her hopes of promoting it to a larger platform.
