Waves of small coloured glass pieces weave across screen. Shapes appear, merge, and disintegrate. There are patterns in the disorder. From the chaos a form is created.

With the support of Visible Fictions, Animator Amanda Aiken and Stained Glass Artist Emma Butler-Cole Aiken created a short stop-motion film using glass.

Liquid Solid screened at Encounters in 2020, as well as several other festivals, winning Best Film at the Sheffield Christian Film & Media Festival.
