We were able to chat with David Black, Managing Director, Branding & Consumer Markets at Google UK on the growth of connectivity, the importance of digital skills and machine learning in the shade and comfort of Havas Cafe.

With the majority of the world’s population being online through mobile, there is a growth in connectivity on the internet which brings about an exciting digital skills revolution. David points out that everybody has now learnt something on the internet, as well as learning about the internet itself.

Creativity is at the heart of the internet, it is a platform for brands and agencies to connect with consumers in ways they have never before as well as paving the way for brilliant technological innovations like Machine Learning. We discuss Machine Learning with David and discovered that it has the power to do everything from helping businesses becoming more efficient to harnessing creativity.
