Concept

Autosmart, the UK's largest manufacturer and distributor of professional vehicle cleaning products, runs a franchise network of 453 franchisees across the UK, Ireland, France and beyond, with a catalogue of more than 4,000 products. When they came to us in 2021, the systems behind that network hadn't kept pace with its growth. The entire franchisee ordering process ran on Excel spreadsheets and phone calls, which meant slow fulfilment, errors, no unified platform to order through, and inventory and finance data scattered across disjointed systems. Expanding into new markets only added pressure, with multilingual support needed across English, French, German, Dutch, Swedish and Guadeloupe. They needed a digital infrastructure that could scale as fast as the business was.
Execution

We designed and deployed a fully integrated, automated eCommerce ecosystem powered by Magento. We built a custom franchise ordering portal wired directly into Autosmart's ERP, so all 453 franchisees could order digitally with full accuracy and no manual processing. We connected the Magento store to eBay and Amazon, so orders across every marketplace sync and fulfil from one place. For a major product launch we built a dedicated B2C website that plugged straight into the wider Magento setup. And we didn't stop at delivery. We provide ongoing Magento support, WordPress development and digital marketing so the platform keeps performing as the business grows, with a national support portal planned next to take franchisee operations and customer service further still.
Results

The platform paid for itself immediately, making Autosmart more money on day one than they had spent with us. It has since automated more than 14,182 orders, removing a manual operation entirely, and now supports £118 million in revenue. All 453 franchisees operate through a single digital system that has transformed accuracy and speed, and the business has the foundation to keep scaling internationally with multilingual capability built into the core.
