ABOUT
There was nowhere more vibrant than London this summer. Drier yes. Vibrant no.
With the Olympics in town, you can’t get away from the mass of bunting, flags and rings. We enjoyed being involved in the build up to London 2012, not just this year, but over the past few years through our various London 2012 related projects. And none more so than the Arts in Parliament programme as part of the London 2012 Cultural Olympiad celebrating the Games in London.
3fish were asked to design and produce the brand identity and supporting material for ‘Arts in Parliament’ for the Houses of Parliament, as part of the UK’s Cultural Olympiad celebrating diversity and the performing arts.
The idea behind the identity (besides injecting a splash of colour and vibrancy into one of the world’s great institutions) is a logo that reflects the diversity and multiculturalism of London. As a foil to the more formal House of Parliament logo, the resulting identity looks striking and certainly a break with tradition for The House (here! Here!)
