ABOUT

Key are an amazing charity who give housing support to young people up to the age of 25. They provide a variety of services including Mediation, Support, Mentoring and Counselling.

22 were asked to reinvigorate the look and feel of the charity’s tired brand and website and bring it up to speed with an ever changing youth culture.

As well as appealing to young people up to the age of 25, the new brand had to shout about the great work it is doing in order to fundraise and attract volunteers.

Through clever use of typography we created a modern and engaging logo with subtle reference to the shape of a ‘Key’.

We used a bright colour pallette, angular typography and photos of service users to create a distinctive and memorable look that better communicates who Key are.

The bright colours and eye catching graphics work particularly well online. This is a good thing as the new website has to fulfill a number of roles. Firstly It has to be a point of call for young people who need help. Offering advice and resources as well as details of how to contact the charity. It also has to help attract volunteers, and encourage people to part with their hard earned spare cash through donations. We achieved this throug
