I work as one of two Senior Video Editors on this Showmax original, a new South African telenovela launching in 2026. In addition to leading the offline edit across multiple episodes, I am responsible for coordinating the full post-production pipeline from assembly to sending for final mix and colour grade.

This role combines creative leadership with operational oversight. I manage turnovers, maintain continuity and editorial consistency across the series, and act as one of the key links between editorial, sound and colour teams to ensure the project moves smoothly against tight broadcast schedules.

Alongside the edit, I design and implement the show’s motion graphics, ensuring that all visual elements align with the storytelling and brand identity of the series. I also oversee subtitle quality control, checking timing, accuracy, and formatting to meet Showmax delivery standards.

The project requires high-level narrative judgment, technical precision, and strong cross-departmental coordination to ensure every episode reaches final mix and grade on time, on spec, and at a premium streaming-platform standard.
