ABOUT
A 24-hour digital garden that evolves in real time, responding to location and circadian cycles.
Commissioned by Google Arts & Culture to concept, design, direct and produce a year-long immersive digital experience exploring our connection to nature through rhythm, time and sensory perception.
In Rhythm With Nature reinterprets the Linnaeus Flower Clock, aligning botanical behaviour with human biological cycles. Each scene shifts subtly throughout the day, creating a living audiovisual environment that responds to the user’s location.
Hand-painted illustrations by Anna Glover were translated into interactive 3D environments and layered with generative soundscapes, field recordings and composed elements by Kosmo Kint and Jamie Anderson.
Developed over a year with Johns Hopkins University and Arts + Mind Lab, the project brought together creative technology, neuroscience and wellbeing research to create an experience designed to encourage stillness, attention and reflection.
