As typing in Arabic became increasingly difficult for a generation raised on English keyboards, many turned to Arabizi — writing Arabic using English letters and numbers.
Arab-easy rethinks the problem at its source: the keyboard. By mapping Arabic letters to familiar English key positions, it enables users to write in proper Arabic without changing how they type.
To make the issue tangible, we partnered with Diwan to re-release iconic Arabic literary classics — including works by Naguib Mahfouz — entirely in Arabizi, turning a cultural tension into a visible and emotional experience.
