ABOUT
Aubox is a luxury cannabis delivery service launched in San Francisco in September 2016. The company offers a subscription service to experience premium cannabis products each month.
The target audience was a professional male/female audience 30’s - 40’s and the creative needed to feel high quality and elegant.
The name Aubox was created because ‘Au’ on the periodic table is gold and the product is delivered in a box. We create a logo based on a periodic style element with the number ‘415’ referring to the San Francisco area code.
Cannabis suffers from a ‘stoner’ image so we wanted to reposition the product and created the brand essence ‘Find your calm’. This positioned it more as a high end product for relaxation. We then created an ad campaign juxtaposing a tropical island in the middle of the ocean (the girls calm) with her profile. This created a visual platform which felt elegant and high end and was used in packaging, digital and advertising.
