About me

I am a visual content specialist. As a visual researcher I have worked upon a variety of projects all of which have always excited me. I love the element of searching for images and being able to find the one image that is visually literate an applicable to the brief.

I maintain high standards of photographic content, commission photography, liaise with editorial and design staff, keep to specific budgets, obtain correct permissions for use of material and cope with tight deadlines.

My freelance working experience is varied having provided both skills and expertise in picture research and picture editing, fee negotiations, licensing, permissions & rights clearances services for a wide variety of clients.

I have over 20 years experience working on any size of project in any form of media, from atlases and encylopedias requiring hundreds of images, exhibitions and tv programmes through to providing individual images for book covers
