About me

I am an award winning Lighting Cameraman and have over 7 years' experience working on various network and regional series, news items and corporate films.

The Productions cover many different genres and include observational documentaries, factual entertainment, reality dating formats, gardening, history, cooking, motor, DIY, sport, informative, fitness and hard hitting fly on the wall programmes. Many of the Productions have been Presenter/New Talent led, have involved multi Camera shoots on location as well as VT inserts and working with children. My work has taken me to a very wide range of locations including Iraq, The Caribbean, America, Falkland Islands, Scandinavia, Iceland and all over Europe. This has not only given me experience of filming in extreme weather conditions but also improved my cultural understanding and communication skills.

On some of the productions I have self-shot, directing my own sequences, prompting the presenter or interviewing contributors. On occasions I am also responsible for the sound controlling it through the camera.
I hold a clean driver's licence and have an I - Visa, making me eligible to work in America.

Kit I have used: Sony HDW-790P HDCAM, Sony PDX-700 XDCAM HD, Sony HD XDCAM-EX3, Digi Beta 790 WSP, DSR 450, 570 and 500, Beta SX, Canon Z5 & Z1, Sony PD 170, Mini Jib, Dolly.

I am currently based in the South West of England. I have accommodation in Bristol and London and I am happy to travel for work.
