About me

After several years of working in the catering industry, I decided that I was not truly testing myself or benefitting from what I feel are my strongest attributes. I very much enjoyed working with the public as I regard my ability to work with and gain the confidence of people as one of my strongest attributes, but I have always had a burning desire to be more creative. This desire led me to undertake a degree in English and American Literature and Creative Writing in order to help me develop my skills and enable me to embark on a more rewarding career. My decision to switch from full time employment to full time education was not an easy one for many reasons, but the feedback I received from my essays and stories was extremely encouraging and I obtained a 2.1. I now feel the decision was the right one. I successfully and quickly obtained my goals in the catering industry and now feel I have the ability to succeed and reach my full potential in a new career. My main aim is to be creative in whichever career lies ahead of me. As long as I am given the chance to express myself and use my own ideas and input, I will have achieved this.
