About me

I have a wide-ranging knowledge of the media industry, both in production and the technical aspects. Freelancing for some of this time has allowed me to work in many different areas of the business, helping me to broaden my understanding and absorb more skills. Previous positions have included production assistant which, along with the usual responsibilities, required me to liaise between the production company and broadcaster, maintaining healthy relations with both. I also have experience as a VT/ new media technician. Work which involved mastering new technical equipment in a small timescale, making the ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines essential. I am keen to learn and able to pick things up quickly. I am highly organised with a proactive approach to problem solving and a lively, professional manner. I also enjoy working as part of a team and the creative process.
