About me

On my year out I was a consultant with ERM based in Edinburgh. I obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Landscape Architecture in 2005 and formed an integral part of landscape team within ERM UK.

Previous to this I gained a wide range of design, assessment, construction and leadership experience from working for DewPitchmastics, as an assistant to the chief engineer of the Granton Waterfront project. My role included land surveying and field data collection, supervision of ground investigation works and ensuring the compliance with the established detailed design. I also gained valuable practical knowledge whilst working as a self employed, freelance landscaper.

Before I began a course in Landscape Architecture, I worked within the financial services, penultimately as a stockbroker with Stocktrade.

My role within ERM's landscape team enabled me to work on a variety of projects ranging from large transport, windfarm schemes and proposed nuclear power plants, to civic amenity sites and bio-refineries across the UK.

I provided a wide and expanding range of technical skills to the landscape team and wider ERM UK group. These included masterplanning, CAD drafting, a full range of graphical presentation skills, rural constraints mapping, field work and landscape and visual impact assessment report writing.

I would welcome the opportunity to develop within your company and would be delighted if given the chance to discuss my application at interview.
