ABOUT
After arguably the worst year ever, BBD Perfect Storm decided that it was more important than ever to keep the spirit of Christmas alive and end 2016 in the right way. How did they do this? Well, they locked a snowman in a freezer on Old Street of course. Using some digital Xmas magic they were able to hook the whole thing up to social media resulting in a donation of 10 mins freezer power + 10p to Evelina London for every use of #KeepDeFrostyAlive.
I was commissioned to illustrate an Xmas card, window vinyls and other digital and campaign assets that captured the shittiness of 2016 whilst raising awareness of DeFrosty. The end result was a satirical depiction of the year including a Trump faced Christingle orange, Santa hat clad Harambe, the Angel of Bowie and plenty of Marmite.
The end result? A donation of £500 from BBD Perfect Storm to Evelina London, plus, the spirit of Christmas was well and truly saved by the good people of Old Street.
