About me

I'm a highly organised and focused communications and broadcast professional, looking for a new challenge, with diverse experience that has been honed across the news and editorial sector. I'm used to working in quickly-evolving situations, often providing proactive support to senior producers and correspondents during large live news events. Underpinned by proven organisational skills and a deadline-driven work ethic, I have enjoyed taking ownership of projects and building good working relationships with diverse stakeholders to enable us to deliver high quality campaigns and programming.

Working for such a large organisation like the BBC was an incredible experience but ultimately I felt that I needed to leave in order to expand my skills and knowledge. So last year when I was offered redundancy I decided to take it. I've really enjoyed the flexibility of freelancing, I was able to try out a few different things and explore new opportunities. It also enabled me to help care for my father who was undergoing treatment for cancer. I am now looking to get back to work full time in an environment that will allow me to stretch my creative wings in a digital environment. I have extensive experience creating marketing and engagement collateral for a range of BBC programmes and I'm looking to take the next step in my career.
