About me

I am an arts graduate with a strong background in History and Arts Management.

My MA in Gallery Studies enabled me to develop my project management skills, gain practical experience in busy team curatorial processes and prove my capacity to organize and deliver events for all ages. These experiences, which are detailed in my exhibition portfolio, demonstrated specific personal abilities such as strong organisational skills and high potential to implement tasks, capacity to deliver to agreed deadlines and prioritise in a high pressure environment, good research skills to source and compile information and data, and above all, being a flexible team player.

Securing placements at arts organisations allowed me to perform as gallery assistant and work closely with the managers of some institutions. These opportunities gave me extensive experience in administrative tasks.

I have performed as an exhibition guide and welcomed visitors demonstrating positive customer care at several galleries on a voluntary basis. I also assisted both in object handling and the assembling/dismantling of temporary displays.

I have good level of IT literacy and proven confidence in using internet and Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access, Excel and FrontPage). I have taken courses in database creation and maintenance as well as spreadsheets (University of Essex, May 2006). I am also keen on website design and editing of digital images.
