The District Cambridge

ABOUT

Design Bridge is an international agency working with some of the world’s biggest brands. While its website met the needs of the business in terms of supporting its growth as a company, the design played it safe with a corporate feel that didn’t do enough to position the agency ahead of the curve.

The District were briefed to update the site with a new design and build that delivered a tool that focused on building the brand. Also a key requirement was that the new site should deliver the same high quality experience in a responsive format across all media.

Our response was to build a site that dynamically pulled together the range of assets and content that illustrated the variety and breadth of Design Bridge’s work, while flexing the typography and structure to give each section a distinct personality. Building on the success of the client’s blogging, which has generated a strong following, we wrote content that communicated the agency’s ideology. To give the agency a human face, we art directed the team photography capturing the people in context and giving something of their personalities away.

The result delivered not just a website, but a brand strategy that has provided visual elements that form a blueprint for how Design Bridge communicates across all media. The site itself has been very well received with increased traffic, visit duration and, importantly, a buzz within the company where the team enjoy being part of and contributing content to the site.
