Dear Sir/Madam

As an English Language and Journalism graduate with experience in the world of SEO, my skillset that means that I am an ideal candidate for the role of Copywriter. Regularly praised for my written work, I have held editorial positions at the student newspaper, Pluto, as well as having a placement at the MEN.

Keeping deadlines at university and working on the student newspaper taught me to manage my workload effectively. This skill proved to be invaluable during my time at Red Cow Media when there was work for several different clients that all needed doing in one day.

I have worked with many different content management systems, including Wordpress and Magento, to create SEO-friendly content that saw the clients that I worked for improve their rankings for the keywords I was working on. This meant that I was ultimately able to get two of my clients to the first page of Google for the keywords that they specified.

Having worked at Pluto and the MEN, as well as writing for different clients at Red Cow Media, I know how to write content for different audiences. This meant that I was able to ensure that the content was of the highest possible quality and fit for purpose. Also, at Pluto, I was key in turning the paper from a print-first format, to an online first format in my role as Online Editor.

Overall, I'm an experienced writer with a background in writing for different audiences in an SEO-friendly manner.
