Ghizlan El Glaoui is an renowned artist who works with light. She wanted business cards that would be memorable, communicate her approach and also be like a piece of art in themselves. Something that had so much impact people would want to keep it.

Her work is a blend of tech and traditional. Some of her pieces use acrylic and LED lights. So, for an impressive experience that replicated her approach we transferred this concept to business cards. Obviously the main twist was the absence of wires and a plug.

The design was laser etched onto acrylic. Lighting up the design simply required squeezing the corner. It's a fun, interactive version of her art that generates genuine fascination and even incredulity. It's something that people are desperate to take home once they see it.

It's entirely appropriate for the project but it's also something that people have never seen before and so is a good talking point about the technology the artist utilises.
