About me

Having supported the Virgin Group for the last 10 years as their Head of Creative Services within their Virgin Holidays division, I understand the importance of brand awareness and integrity along with excellent customer service and delivery at all times and from all areas of the business. I understand how important every single piece of content and marketing communications is whether digital or traditional. At Virgin we worked in an environment where all staff, no matter their position, were encouraged to be creative thinkers and solution finders.

At Virgin Holidays I provided leadership, direction, project management, business acumen, budget control and high quality input to develop and deliver on the company's short and long-term strategies.

I built and managed a large pool of content and creative talent as well as overseeing and managing an external network of digital, media, advertising and print suppliers and freelance support. Although in-house, the studio pretty much functioned as an independent agency within the core business. Myself and the team, aided by a CS Manager and CS Supervisor, produced, trafficked and delivered digital & traditional content and marketing communications for six brand accounts including banners, destination videos; photography, brand (DNA, guidelines, iPhone/iPAD apps...), marketing (B2B, B2C, POS, ancillary marketing communications for TV and Radio campaigns...), printed brochures (some over 400pp); and operational communications; content for over 3k third party products, destinations and resorts and management of over 30k digital assets.

I have always worked cross-functionally with department heads to ensure plans are drawn up, contracts agreed and that progress is regularly monitored. I oversee all production services from brief to delivery ensuring suppliers and creative staff are trained and aware of guidelines and project deadlines etc at all times. Regularly managing the different creative personalities to get the job done.

Responsibility for the development of staff within my care has always been a key function, ensuring regular 1:1s, objectives, personal development plans and reviews are in place. Actively coaching and participating in staff development and ensuring that all team members are trained and have sufficient skills to meet the demands of their respective roles.

I love to be inspired, I enjoy a challenge, I'm a hard worker and I pride myself on providing excellent customer service regardless the size, budget or importance of the project.
