As part of a new digital strategy, Shelter wanted to overhaul the ‘Get Involved’ section on their website. Our task was to simplify and maximise the user journey, in order to make it easier for visitors to participate, fundraise, or volunteer.

Our approach needed to target two main groups of users; those individuals feeling inspired to do something to support Shelter, and also corporate donors that could be encouraged to support Shelter.

After several workshops, user testing, and prototypes, we identified a strategy that pinned fundraising events around seasons, and external events. By constantly updating content based around these events, it ensured that the content stayed fresh and inspiring for those looking to get involved.

Evolving their brand guidelines we crafted channel page designs, a new suite of iconography, updated typography, image styling, and colour palettes. These pages were then built as separate HTML templates and integrated within their existing CMS platform.

As well as helping over three million people a year already struggling with bad housing or homelessness, Shelter also campaigns to prevent the social problem in the first place.
