Merry Christmas from Creativepool
Where has 2010 gone? Yes folks, that time of the year is upon us yet again where we can all don silly hats and eat & drink to our hearts content, all in the name of Christmas.
For those of you who wish for nothing but the perfect job for Xmas, the Creativepool offices will be open all the way through Christmas, only closing 27th & 28th December and 3rd January 2011. The site itself will not close at all, meaning you can always use it when needed!
From everyone at Creativepool - Merry Christmas
2010 in tweets
As 2010 draws to a close, the inevitable polls and round ups of the year are popping up all over the place. None have been quite as interesting as the data which has been collated by the brains behind Twitter.
We have been tweeting about eight main trends, correctly rambling on about all that is relevant in news, movies, people, television, technology, the world cup, sports and hashtags.
You can read about all the results in this blog and also find out what the most important tweets of 2010 were.

Seasons greetings to all of you. Yes folks it's Christmas time and here at Creativepool we know you're busy singing songs and and playing in the snow.

CP Spotlight - Jodie Cox
In between all the egg-nog drinking, present sharing and tree decorating, we managed to wheel out our CP spotlight and shine it upon one of our fantastic freelancers, Jodie Cox.
Jodie spared us a few minutes of her time to let us know what motivates her, her dream projects and how she got started to become an illustrator. It really is an insightful read.
So be sure to catch this Xmas treat as we talk about NASA, mosh pits and the joys of doing a degree in illustration.

Furry Russian rodents, infuriating corpulent opera singers and people who will buy any car (dot com) - TV advertising in 2010 has certainly been a mixed bag.
But at least there are still some agencies determined not fall into the 'Because we're worth it' blandness trap. Let's be honest, there's something appealing about rubbish adverts. And of course, there's much to be admired in the strikingly good ad too.
So, with this in mind, Magnus Shaw picks the best and worst of 2010's telly advertising.
