XXXXXXXXXXX As 2010 draws to a close, the inevitable polls and round ups of the year are popping up all over the place. None have been quite as interesting as the data which has been collated by the brains behind Twitter.

We have been tweeting about eight main trends, correctly rambling on about all that is relevant in news, movies, people, television, technology, the world cup, sports and hashtags.

You can read about all the results in this blog and also find out what the most important tweets of 2010 were.

XXXXXXXXXXX In between all the egg-nog drinking, present sharing and tree decorating, we managed to wheel out our CP spotlight and shine it upon one of our fantastic freelancers, Jodie Cox.

Jodie spared us a few minutes of her time to let us know what motivates her, her dream projects and how she got started to become an illustrator. It really is an insightful read.

So be sure to catch this Xmas treat as we talk about NASA, mosh pits and the joys of doing a degree in illustration.

Swings and roundabouts - the best and worst TV ads of 2010

TV Ads 2010 Furry Russian rodents, infuriating corpulent opera singers and people who will buy any car (dot com) - TV advertising in 2010 has certainly been a mixed bag.

But at least there are still some agencies determined not fall into the 'Because we're worth it' blandness trap. Let's be honest, there's something appealing about rubbish adverts. And of course, there's much to be admired in the strikingly good ad too.

So, with this in mind, Magnus Shaw picks the best and worst of 2010's telly advertising.
