Rufus Leonard and The Share Centre make investing easy with new app

Published by

The Share Centre, the retail stockbroker, has launched a new app to give people all the support, guidance and information they need to make investing easy. The new app, created by Rufus Leonard, provides information on the top risers and fallers in the market and expert analysts’ share tips and fund recommendations. The Share Centre customers using the app can also seamlessly link through to call a broker for advice.

The App in Action

In a statement announcing the launch of the app, Laurence Parkes, Chief Strategy Officer of Rufus Leonard, said: “This app is an example of world-class brand experience in practise. The Share Centre customers massively value the personal service they get when they ring The Share Centre’s brokers. When we designed the app we didn’t want to lose this while digitising the experience. So rather than including share dealing on the app we have seamlessly linked the app experience with the ability to call a broker for advice. At Rufus we're fascinated by solving problems. One of them is getting the right balance between convenient technology and personal interaction. In its simplest form, that's what The Share Centre app does. We're very proud of it.”

Darren Cornish, Customer Experience Director of The Share Centre, added: “This is a real step forward for our customer experience, and another example of how The Share Centre is continuing to expand its services to help enhance investors’ choices.”

Investors using the app will be able to analyse performance and price, and can bookmark and track a wide range of investments before they buy. The app allows customers to check account balances, keep track of their investments, read the latest headlines from The Share Centre news feed and sync their watch list from The Share Centre website on the go. The app is available for download now on both Apple and Android devices. It is designed to be used on tablet and mobile devices and by all investors, whether they are customers of The Share Centre or not.
