Wieden+Kennedy take us on a 360 tour of some Tiny Kitchens

Published by

“No kitchen too small for a dishwasher.” That’s the mantra Finish is working from with its new digital platform, produced in collaboration with Bosch. The platform in question is a fully immersive 360 degree experience that takes people inside some of the world’s smallest kitchens in never before seen detail.

Visitors to the bespoke Tiny Kitchens Tour web portal can explore six real tiny kitchens and discover inspiring tips from their real owners about how to create more space without sacrificing character. The Tiny Kitchens Tour aims to prove that with a few small changes, even in the tiniest of kitchens, there is always room for a dishwasher.

Created by Wieden & Kennedy London, the website allows viewers to go on 360 degree tours of these minuscule kitchens, then follow the link to find a dishwasher that suits. One, the rustic kitchen, is on a houseboat. Another occupies the space under the stairs. A third is a boldly colourful kitchen designed by a quirky artist and decked out in exclamations marks.**

The campaign comes from Finish’s research in the UK that suggests In the UK, a lack of space is the key barrier to dishwasher ownership. With apartments getting smaller and smaller and a greater desire for smaller living spaces, this is not a good thing for the brand. Finish will be targeting people searching online for home inspiration with Wieden+Kennedy’s campaign, including via design and DIY blogs.

To produce the virtual tours, Wieden+Kennedy worked with with VFX studio IM360 on the videos, digital design agency, EnjoyThis on the site, and Father on the sound effects. Ex-BMF ECDs, Carlos Alija and Laura Sampredo were Wieden+Kennedy’s creative directors on the project. The campaign also utilises Facebook’s brand new 360 degree formats.
