Droga5 has announced its new head of Data Strategy, Andrew Tully. His position is effective immediately, reporting into Global Chief Strategy Officer, Jonny Bauer. Tully will work across all accounts at Droga5. Prior to joining Droga5, Tully pioneered the development of Carrot Creative’s (a VICE company) analytics department from the ground up, mining key insights based on qualitative and quantitative analysis of all social, web, digital ad, and all other aspects of digital marketing for brands.

AnalogFolk

AnalogFolk continues to bolster its content marketing business, appointing its first audience and influence director and an editor. 

In the newly created role, Amy Broadfoot joins AnalogFolk to manage audience development and increase the influence for the brands it works with through media. Working closely with editor-in-chief Suz Tucker she will manage media, partnerships, influencer programs, search and PR for the growing list of clients turning to the agency for content creation. 

Broadfoot was the former national content director at Australia’s largest search agency, Columbus and has held content creation and strategy roles at Infinity Squared and Hatched. She also sits on ADMA’s Expert Community for Content Marketing. 

In addition John Agnew joins as editor. Prior to AnalogFolk he was online editor at GQ.com.au and has also worked at Bauer Media and was senior writer at alternative surfing title Movement Magazine for six years.

Emmet Byrne has been appointed as CFO at The Moment, the international content company, bringing 30+ years of experience across the creative and TV sectors to the business. Emmet will join the board, taking on responsibility for driving the financial and commercial performance of The Moment, which is backed by private equity firm, LDC. CEO Mark Hawkins, said: “I’m delighted to welcome Emmet to The Moment in order to strengthen our executive team as we push forward with an ambitious growth strategy. Saatchi & Saatchi announced two key global executive leadership appointments this week: Jeff Geisler as Chief Marketing Officer; and Carol Miller-Repetto as Chief Operating Officer for the agency's Procter & Gamble Business. In their new roles, the two executives will join Robert Senior, CEO Worldwide, and Pablo Del Campo, Worldwide Creative Director, on the Global Leadership Team, driving growth and operations for the agency worldwide. These appointments follow recent announcements naming David Hackworthy as Chief Strategy Officer, Jessica Hendrix as President Saatchi & Saatchi X USA and Julie Michael as President of Team One.

Geisler, who most recently served as CMO of Roc Nation, the entertainment company founded and owned by Jay-Z, will lead Saatchi & Saatchi’s global growth, brand and new business initiatives. Miller-Repetto, meanwhile will lead Saatchi & Saatchi's P&G teams in all markets creating integrated communications for several P&G brands globally. Senior said: “Saatchi & Saatchi is delighted to welcome Jeff and Carol to the leadership. We have momentum for growth, and in an industry based entirely on talent, it’s critical to have the right people in the right positions. Havas Worldwide has promoted Tracey Barber to the role of UK Chief Marketing Officer across Havas Worldwide, Havas Work Club and Havas Helia. Barber, who was previously Chief Marketing Officer at Havas Helia, will lead a marketing and new business team working across Havas Creative Group’s agencies. Since joining Havas Helia in 2014, Barber has overseen the global rebrand of the agency and major new business wins including The Co-operative Bank, Gap, Peperami and Regus. Prior to Havas Helia, Barber was the Chief Marketing Officer at Kitcatt Nohr for three years. She has also been a non-executive director at the Ministry of Defence since 2012 and was the vice-chairman at the 2Gether Foundation Trust, a specialist NHS trust providing social and mental healthcare services.

Omnicom Media Group has announced the promotion of Tony Harradine to the newly created role of chief investment officer. Previously in a commercial role at Omnicom, Harradine is an established international operator with experience extending across Europe, U.S.A. and Australasia. Harradine’s elevation to chief investment officer, OMG will see Peter Horgan, CEO of OMD Australia Group relinquish his remit as Negotiations Lead across OMG, allowing him to focus on continued leadership and growth of OMD Australia.

Havas Media Group Australia has announced two strategic appointments, with Mark Campbell joining the team as Head of Content and Rogan Gilhespie as Head of Data (APAC). Both will play key roles in the broader Havas Village strategy to better integrate media, digital, creative and PR to drive innovation and efficiencies for clients.

 Campbell brings 18 years experience in media to his new role at Havas Media, where he will be charged expanding the agency's content offering for clients. 

Gilhespie, meanwhile, will be responsible for leading and developing the business' data offering in Australia and across APAC. With almost 20 years in the industry, he has experience working with a number of global brands including: Hyundai/Kia, Credit Suisse, BSkyB, Unilever, Nissan, Emirates and Pernod Ricard.

Kitcatt Nohr has appointed a new management team to lead the customer engagement agency into the next phase of its development. In order to help strengthen this new proposition, Hattie Whiting moves from her current role as Client Partner at DigitasLBi to take up the position of Managing Director. Whiting will be responsible for driving the ongoing growth of Kitcatt Nohr and expanding its existing client base, which includes Bupa, Nissan and Sky. Ed Beard, currently Head of Creative Strategy at DigitasLBi, also joins Kitcatt Nohr as Chief Strategy Officer, leading a team of customer engagement planners responsible for harnessing the power of data to help brands better understand their customers. Whiting and Beard are joined on the revamped management team by Kitcatt Nohr Executive Creative Director Ben Golik and Group Data Strategy Partner Sue MacLure. Under Whiting, Kitcatt Nohr’s new management team will oversee the evolution of the agency as it continues to redefine customer engagement communications by putting people at the heart of its thinking.

Y&R Global CEO David Sable announced this week that Andrew Dimitriou has been named President of Y&R Europe. Andrew will work closely with the leaders in the region to evolve and help grow Y&R’s European offering, in order to serve Y&R’s clients across markets and through Y&R’s unique expertise across all Y&R companies, including Y&R Advertising, Labstore (Shopper Marketing) and VML (digital). Most recently, Andrew has been based in Paris, serving as the European lead for WPP’s Red Fuse, where he led the efforts for Colgate-Palmolive across all their brands in 33 European markets. Prior to that, he was the Global Managing Director on Hills Pet Nutrition, which involved VML in Kansas City, Y&R Prague, Y&R Tokyo and Y&R Sydney.
