One Earth Farms - Transcend3

One Earth Farms has named Transcend3 as their national advertising agency of record and strategic partner in Canada. OEF is an umbrella housing many natural and organic food brands, including Beretta Farms and Sweetpea Organic Baby Food. Transcend3 will be responsible for positioning each brand, as well as national creative including print, packaging, POS, social media, broadcast and special design initiatives. Cynthia Beretta, marketing director at One Earth Farms, was very impressed with the agency's “Creative credentials, deep experience in the food category and track record for results.” They also stood out with their “Unique and seamless bilingual creative approach,” and feels that “Their creative concepts combined with their experience and ability to take the OEF brands to Europe made Transcend3 the right choice.”

Transcend3 co-creative director Lisa McCoy, said the account is a really interesting and exciting challenge for them, because “The all-natural and organic premium food market is totally on trend.” Oliver Tran, the agency's president and other co-creative director, adds that OEF are the kind of client they like best because “They believe in the value and power of cultural insights to build their brands.” He said they're eager to see how they can “Help grow all the brands of One Earth Farms both in English Canada, Quebec and beyond.”

 

JW Marriott – M&C Saatchi

M&C Saatchi has won global creative and strategic duties on the Marriott International luxury hotel brand JW Marriott in the Asia Pacific region after a competitive pitch, with the expectation that the agency's Sydney office will lead creative and strategy for the luxury group’s local markets. The pitch was led by M&C Saatchi’s New York office and SS+K, which it acquired late last year.

The brand, which has 70 locations in eight region, has undergone a major expansion in recent years that has seen it undertake strategic partnerships with Aromatherapy Associates, Treasury Wine Estates and globally-renowned nutritionist Keri Glassman, in addition to opening new hotels.
 M&C Saatchi Australia CEO Jaimes Leggett said that “The JW Marriott brand is a global by-word for luxury,” so they are excited by this opportunity to partner with them in the Asia Pacific region. He added that “This win demonstrates the wherewithal of M&C Saatchi’s worldwide network of offices to work together for major global brands.”

 

Pernod Ricard Winemakers – PPR

Pernod Ricard Winemakers (the global wine division of Pernod Ricard) named PPR as its agency of record this week after a competitive pitch which saw PPR present its influencer engagement program to help the brand grow its presence in key markets.

 PPR Australia will assist Pernod Ricard Winemakers with developing communications strategies and executing media and influencer relations in key markets.

Michael Pooley, executive director for PPR Australasia, said they are “Really excited to lead this global brief and are looking forward to helping grow awareness and understanding of the brand’s exceptional wine portfolio among key influencers.” Claire Haigh, communication director for Pernod Ricard Winemakers, said they selected PPR because they wanted an agency “With a worldwide network that could deliver a broad communications mix,” in line with their ambition to be the world’s leading global premium wine business. They were

Halfords – Carat Manchester

Halfords has appointed Carat Manchester to handle its media planning and buying account. Carat has been tasked with managing all communications planning and buying across press, radio, out-of-home, online, cinema, TV and video-on-demand in the UK at both local and national level. The agency will be devising and implementing a strategic media plan, which will enable the nations leading retailer of automotive, cycling and leisure products to align all its communication around its services and products, as well as ensuring consistency across all channels. This will help brand to boost customer engagement as well as maximise its media investment.

Halfords has appointed Carat Manchester to handle its media planning and buying account

Rachel McDonald, managing director at Carat Manchester, said “The development of a collaborative approach to media planning” combined with their “In-depth understanding of a convergent media landscape,” was central to their Halfords proposition. He said Carat are thrilled to be working with the “UK’s market-leading retailer in the automotive, leisure and cycling space,” and he's confident that they can “Deliver a media strategy that will drive real business value for Halfords." Karen Bellairs, marketing director at Halfords, adds that are “Excited to kick start a new media strategy with Carat Manchester, specifically devised to encourage and inspire people to live their life on the move.” She feels that an “Enhanced focus on strategic partnerships” will help them deliver a best-in-class marketing campaign that will enable them to truly engage with their target audiences across every touch-point.

 

Schwab Trading Services – The Richards Group

The Richards Group, the largest independent brand-building shop in the US, announced this week that it's been selected as the agency of record for the Schwab Trading Services business. The group will be responsible for creative development and digital marketing, and will launch new work for the brand in the coming months. Trey Robinson, vice president of marketing for Schwab, said “ Traders are looking for more than just a trading platform, they want insights and education, and they want it on their terms.” He feels that The Richards Group truly understands their purpose, and looks forward “To working closely with them to launch new creative in the coming months.” Pete Lempert, principal at The Richards Group, adds that “Schwab is one of the great American brands and a standout name in the investment world” He is “Thrilled to work with the brand and excited to embark on a new campaign with them.”
