*"View Creative is located in Rhos on Sea, a small town in North Wales so our clients are based across Wales and the UK. As much as we work on big jobs, a lot of the time, we haven't forgotten how to work small. Our clients are as large as the Royal Albert Hall, or as little as a local primary school. Our long standing client list demonstrates our longevity and reliable performance. Our work is creative, considered and always of the highest quality."

What do you actually do?
I sit in the design studio doing a number of things including design, creative direction, trying to inspire the team and picking some music to liven up the place when things get a bit quiet.

*
What would you be doing if you weren't doing that?
Probably travelling and scrubbing dishes to pay my way around. The guys at work think I'm a spy because I have 3 passports.

How did you get started in the industry?
My parents owned a small print company when I was growing up in Australia so I kind of fell into design at a young age.

What's your current favourite piece of creative work at the moment?
Today it is Phraseology project. It's always changing though.

*
What do you love about your job?
Paying the bills by doing something creative. I love the challenge of taking something that seems dull and lifeless at the start and turning it into something that is interesting and exciting.

If you could give one piece of advice for someone starting out, what would it be?
Experiment.

If you have one Super power what would it be?
That's easy. To be able to fly.

*
What do you want to be when you grow up?
I don't want to grow up. I am having too much fun as a big kid.

What was your worst job and what did you learn from it?
Chef, I mean microwave technician, at a pub. I learnt to deal with stress there. It was just me in the kitchen, prepping, cooking and scrubbing the dishes, so it was pretty hectic.

*
You have already worked with some amazing brands, who would you like to work with next?
Any skateboard or snowboard brand would be my dream client, especially as I try and do both sports. Creatively you could work on their marketing, products, fashion, and even film making.

iPhone or Blackberry?
2 cans and some string please. I would just break either of them.

Your favourite app?
eBay as I prefer using the app to the website.

*
Too Cool for School or too School for Cool?
Too cool for school. When I was growing up I wanted to be an architect but when I found out the amount of study and constraints that were involved, design was the obvious option.

Facebook or Twitter?
Facebook.

Eat In or eat out?
Eat in if you are doing the dishes.

The Brands Pushing Back Against Fast Fashion #SustainabilityMonth

Fashion has always been anathema to me. You could diplomatically refer to my wardrobe as “functional” and I’m unlikely to spend more than a few fleeting seconds deciding what to wear in the morning. I do, however, understand the...
