Loughborough Students' Union is the students' union serving members from Loughborough University and Loughborough College.

The Union is unique amongst British universities, in that its premises are owned by the students themselves. The Union is managed on a day-to-day basis by the Executive, with scrutiny from Union Affairs Committee.

Loughborough Students’ Union (LSU) is an organisation that is run to ensure that students have the best experience possible whilst studying as a Loughborough University or College student. We put our students at the heart of everything we do, whether it’s giving them the time of their lives, helping them to be more than their course, or being always on their side, we want to help them make the most out of their time as a Loughborough student.

We provide practical support and representation for individuals, groups and Loughborough students as a whole, as well as giving them the advice they need to cope well with student life. Through this, LSU seeks to help the University to improve the academic and general student experience so it really is the best.

We provide outstanding opportunities beyond students' core academic experience, so they can develop as people and have that vital edge in their future careers. We make "getting involved" in the union more rewarding and challenging so students develop personally and boost their careers. Students can get involved with the various sections of the students' union, including community projects, fundraising, campaigns and more. LSU works to ensure that all students have the best student experience as possible during their time here, whilst also becoming a part of the Loughborough or Loughborough in London community.

We help students create new experiences, find friends for life, have unforgettable nights out and we build a campus community that is a great place to live, work and study. the aim is to always be building Loughborough's reputation as the definitive student experience.
