We are looking for a Strategic Director to join our journey. The Strategic Director is responsible for directing the overall vision for our client's campaigns to meet their business needs. The ideal candidate has outstanding communication and negotiation skills and ability to understand different business strategies and needs. What You Would Be Doing

  • Develop workable budgets, work plans, and realistic timetables

  • Collaborate with the Account Manager, Account Executive, and Creative Director on preparation of marketing recommendations, strategies, and actions for the client

  • Review, analyze, and evaluate the following, relative to the client’s needs and objectives: media output, creative output, research reports, and client data

  • Define project scope, estimate and writing proposals, work with producer in the creation of project specifications and time plans

  • Understand business objectives, challenges, and opportunities of target and industry

  • Responsible for departmental vision, structure, and management while providing leadership, accountability, and mentorship to brand strategy

  • Develop in collaboration with the agency team, innovative and/or differentiating products and services

  • Be the agency’s lead brand evangelist, embodying Swagger’s core values and differentiating perspectives

  • Develop integrated marketing strategies and tactical plans to meet and exceed the client’s marketing and business goals and objectives

  • Generate and drive insight for internal and client audiences around media, brands, consumers, and experiences

  • Provide market research, analyses, and insights into latest industry trends.

  • Lead and manage new business presentations as assigned

  • Manage agency strategy efforts and projects, involved with projects start to finish, ensuring successful project completion against deadlines

  • Develop integrated marketing strategies and tactical plans to meet and exceed the client’s marketing and business goals and objectives

  • Generate and drive insight for internal and client audiences around media, brands, consumers, and experiences

  • Design, execute, and manage research

  • Manage measurement, analytics, data gathering, and reporting for cleint’s and agency

  • Provide strategic branding thought leadership and expertise to expand business relationships

  • Oversee development of marketing plans and creative briefs

  • Developing and implementing new processes to increase efficiencies and effectiveness of research, measurement, and strategy work for teams

  • Work with all departments to develop integrated solutions and expand the services Swagger provides to clients

  • Actively participate in client presentations

  • Help lead research initiatives and manage outside consultants

  • Seek new opportunities to add value to existing clients

What You Need To Have

  • 5-7+ years’ experience brand/marketing/communications strategy experience in integrated, brand, and digital communications. Agency experience preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Marketing

  • Proven record of leading effective strategic visions

  • Great attention to detail

  • Ability to communicate in a professional manner with management and internal/external clients

  • Strong presentation skills

  • Ability to recognize key decision makers

  • Excellent administrative skills

  • Proficiency with both PC and Mac

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Gmail, and Google Docs

  • Proficiency with project planning software such as Asana and Harvest

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

  • Self-motivated, ability to deal with ambiguity, prioritize tasks, and meet daily deadlines

  • Strong organizational and project management skills

  • Above average problem-solving skills

  • A collaborative, participative team working style

  • Excellent written, verbal, and digital communication skills

  • A quick learner and willing to improve performance based on received feedback
