Social Media Designer (Part-time - 3 days a week, variable days by agreement. 3 month fixed-term contract.)

This is an exciting opportunity for a social media designer to work for a leading creative social agency on a part-time basis.

We drive long-term growth for well-known brands through deep insight, outstanding strategy and kick ass creative in social. We're looking for a talented and dynamic designer to work with our social and content teams to develop creative ideas and deliver visual assets for our clients’ social channels.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a natural creative you’ll thrive working within our buzzing team producing visually enticing, platform-specific always-on and campaign content.

Day-to-day creation of high-quality, on-trend static posts, gifs, short-form animation, and filters, and resizing deliverables, will be within your remit. Your expert knowledge of producing content for Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat and Twitter will mean you’re always up to speed on specs, formats and innovations.

Idea creation is central to what you do, and you’ll work with our community managers and creative team to come up with innovative visual ideas and executions for social posts, content calendars and campaigns. From time to time, you’ll design social toolkits for brands and help shape brand guidelines.

You’ll be a key player in ensuring branded social content delivers creative excellence, and consistently breaks the mould. Your work will WOW clients and colleagues alike!

 

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR...

Social media marketing experience: 1-2 years’ experience as a social media designer for consumer and FMCG brands. Always-on content across different channels. Producing social content including gifs and animation, and utilising stock imagery. Experience producing banner content for programmatic campaigns is a bonus.

Technical skills: Adobe CS: Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. An interest and experience in photography, illustration or video editing is desirable.

Social expertise: Impressive knowledge of trends in social.

Creativity:  Fabulous idea generation and execution, always with consideration of platform capabilities.

Communication and presentation skills: Excellent communication and confident presentation skills to pitch ideas internally and to clients.

Organised and efficient: Cool and calm under pressure, with the ability to manage a variety of projects effectively. Great attention to detail.

Team collaboration: Positive attitude and fab work ethic. Suited to working well within team environments.

 

Salary is £30k pro-rata.
