What are we looking for?
We are looking for a Motion Graphics Designer to join our London team on a 1-month rolling contract, working in shift patterns on a secure project.
As one of our Motion Graphics Designers you’ll be responsible for creating high quality and innovative motion graphics, bespoke illustrations and animations that transcend across a variety of platforms, including print, digital, direct mail, social and film.
You’ll be responsible for custom and creative content in response to the brief, working hand in hand with designers and film production teams to bring ideas to life and influence changes in audience behavior through ideas, creativity and the use of media.
You will be involved in projects from inception to completion, championing the visual concept both within the Creative and Digital team and more widely across the agency.
Please note, this position requires you to work in 6.5 hour shift patterns, 5 days a week. Afternoon shift begins at 11am, evening shift begins at 5pm.
Key responsibilities for this role
Work with colleagues across departments to understand project scope and objectives.
Create highly engaging motion graphics, illustrations and animations for a diverse array of media.
Develop and execute complex design briefs.
Encode, convert and edit raw video footage, adding effects to enhance motion graphics.
Assist in the design and creation of storyboards.
Work with editors, producers and other designers to resolve technical and/or design issues.
Liaise with clients to determine requirements and budget.
Manage client proposals from typesetting through to design, print and production.
Working with clients, briefing and advising them with regard to design style, format, production and timescales.
Keeping up to date with advancements in animation as well as new technologies and techniques to continue delivering cutting edge work.
