We have a new opportunity for a Junior Designer to join this well established business within the financial and consumer sector.
You will be joining this growing marketing team in a brand new position which has arisen due to their continued growth.
The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the design and development of both digital and printed material consistent with the company's brand guidelines.
Working closely with the marketing team and other designer you will be responsible for creating and developing digital assets including web banners, infographics and artworks for use on social media channels.
You will also design and produce print collateral including advertising for specialised publications, inserts, brochures etc.
In addition you will create e-newsletters and promotional email marketing using GetResponse or similar online platform
What We're Looking For:
As a Junior Designer we are looking for at least one years commercial experience in a design studio or marketing team. Your portfolio will reflect your work experience demonstrating both print and digital work.
You will have relevant qualifications in Graphic Design or related subjects along with high skills in using Adobe Creative Suite, InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator
Confident, enthusiastic and a forward thinker, you will want to join a team where you can learn and have a genuine interest and awareness of current and emerging design concepts, trends and best practice
We would expect you to be prepared to work extra hours when workload and priorities dictate within busy periods. Due to the location of the business between York and Harrogate you must be a driver with your own transport.
