The Junior Designer will help the In-house Design and Brand Manager designing reports and publications (including cover design, text layout, creation of graphs/charts/infographics), making sure that the outputs will be consistent with existing materials. Please visit for more information.
To be successful in the position, candidates will require a keen eye to detail, creativity, the ability to work under established design templates and frameworks to meet branding guidelines and to meet short deadlines.
The Designer is expected to work closely to our Design and Brand Manager that will manage the workflow and filter the other teams’ request.
Advanced proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office products
Graphics design experience
Ability to contribute creative and novel assets while working within branding guidelines and established templates
Excellent communication skills
Exceptional attention to detail
Well organised and self-motivated; ability to work effectively and meet deadlines without direct supervision
Ability to handle high volumes of work and prioritise workflows
A “can-do” attitude with the ability to accurately interpret instructions, understand what is needed and deliver products to expectations
Must be eligible to work in the UK
Some experience in web design and video production will be regarded highly, but will not be considered essential.
This position provides a unique opportunity to creatively contribute to the design of a wide variety of media and comes at a time when the PRI Initiative is attracting increased global attention and recognition.
This is a freelance position offering the flexibility to accommodate other projects you may have responsibility for; the duration of the contract will be 6 months and likely to be renewed for the right candidate.
