Street League use sport and physical activity to tackle youth unemployment. We specialise in helping our participants (16-24 year olds from disadvantaged areas) progress from our unique football, fitness or dance-fitness and education programmes into sustainable employment, education and training.

We are a growing organisation and currently operate across the UK in 14 regions, including Greater London, the North East and North West of England, Yorkshire, the Midlands and across Scotland.

We are currently recruiting a part-time Graphic Designer (15 hours/week) who will be responsible for creating engaging recruitment campaigns which encourage more young people to sign up to Street League’s programmes, supporting the commercial team with design materials for our corporate partnerships, and creating impactful graphic and web designs to showcase our growing social impact to industry stakeholders. Working closely with the Head of Marketing & Communications, you will be the sole designer responsible for creating Street League’s graphic and web content which showcases Street League as one of the UK’s most innovative, exciting and dynamic charities.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and creative individual with at least two years experience in graphic and web design who can show us their portfolio of recent work. This is a part-time role at 15 hours per week, with flexibility offered in the number of hours worked per day or days per week. We are based near London Bridge and would require the post-holder to be based in our office.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  • You will be the chief brand guardian for Street League, ensuring that all graphic and web design materials are fully adhering to brand guidelines. You will also be responsible for updating the brand guidelines annually to share with regional teams.
  • You will be the sole designer for all of the organisations’ print and web materials, ensuring they effectively communicate our brand, ethos, values and points of difference.
  • Responsible for designing the Street League Annual Report - a 40-50 page document communicating our social impact and financial statements through engaging infographics.
  • Responsible for designing youth campaigns for social media and flyers to encourage unemployed 16-24 year olds to sign-up to a Street League programme.
  • Responsible for photography for the organisation, including editing to fit within the Street League brand guidelines.
  • Undertake ad-hoc design requests and briefs for the wider organisation and regional teams.
