Purpose

Lead product copy process and implementation, ensuring consumer-relevant and clear addias brand voice from sellin to catalogues, ecomm to retail.

Create industry leading concepts, writing solutions and copy for various projects, from sell in to sellout (consumer-facing)

Key Accountabilities

  • Develop and maintain writing standards for all product copy across the brand
  • Lead the writing efforts for all product copy, ensuring quality implementation
  • Develop concepts and creative strategies that fulfill objectives of category, concept, briefs
  • Collaborate with Product Design team to ensure holistic storytelling
  • Collaborate with cross-functional team members to ensure consumer- and brand focus
  • Lead the writing development and execution for concept or category across multiple consumer touchpoints, from 2D to retail to digital
  • Maximise results within given budget and timeframes
  • Participate in creation of annual and long-term Creative Direction strategies
  • Present and communicate creative solutions with clarity, effectively selling in ideas to variety of stakeholders
  • Identify opportunities of improvement and change, and initiate own proposals/projects
  • Seek out new Writing resources that can deliver world class results

Knowledge, Capabilities and Experience

  • IT skills:  Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint: advanced
  • Strong verbal skills with the ability to create impactful/exciting presentations
  • Proven strong concept development and technical writing abilities
  • Ability to craft simple human engaging copy for technical topics
  • Language: English: excellent, fluent

Qualifications

  1. University degree or the equivalent in Writing, PR, Marketing, related
  2. At least 8 years professional experience Writing for Advertising or other Agency or InHouse
  3. Self-starter, Project management
  4. Passion for adidas and its mission
  5. Passion for sports, culture, words
