Digital Designer/Artworker
This job listing has expired JobThis position will sit within the creative team to help the design and build of digital graphics, email marketing, graphic design, website content and social media. You will be working on a range of multimedia projects across all digital mediums. They work with a plethora of different brands across automotive, sport, education, public sector, retail and financial blue chip clients. As an experienced designer/developer, you will be expected to liaise with media and account management teams to ensure that all creative ideas and design solutions are consistent and realised. This role will see the successful candidate push a project through from concept to finish.
The ideal person will have agency experience and a solid understanding and appreciation of studio life. You will have expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and will be looking to extend your skill set, particularly with web based media. HTML (preferably HTML5) experience for responsive emails is crucial for this role and an up-tp-date knowledge of current trends in the digital world. Personality wise you will be a truly collaborative team player and fit within the family atmosphere.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design and build of UX design solutions and templates for emails, landing pages, banner ads, sliders/pods and graphics for social media to support promotions and brand messages
- Design origination and follow/interpret brand and campaign guidelines
- Image retouching, cutouts and sourcing lifestyle imagery to aid customer navigation
- Use of HTML 5 & CSS to update website graphics and banner ads
- Design and build informative and responsive HTML marketing emails and email templates for customer communication
- Use of In-design, Photoshop and Illustrator to compile attractive images and banners in line with the brand guidelines
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Must have a good working knowledge and understanding of Mailchimp (or similar email platforms), Wordpress, HTML and CSS
- Highly proficient user of Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and Dreamweaver (or similar).
- Must be naturally proactive, with great interpersonal skills and high attention to detail
- Ability to effectively follow and interpret creative templates and brand guidelines.
- Flash/ AnimateCC and After Effects skills would be an advantage.
- Print based experience will be an asset, due to the varied projects and multi-media offering of the agency.
