So what’s the opportunity?

As a Clarity Creative Artworker you will be is responsible for producing solutions that are clear and intelligent in relation to the artwork process. You will be expected to work with the Account Team and when necessary the client to deliver work, so, you will be able to manage your time and relationships well.

You will be expected to be highly proficient at your trade and you will need to have an integrated approach to the different types of media that you will potentially be required to work with in order to bring ideas to life. Being able to think laterally across a variety of touch points.

You will be expected to have a comprehensive understanding of how a brand works and be passionate about building brands through consistency, but also creativity and strategically being brave by looking to add value to a brief and the company where ever you can.

You will be able to work on your own, and also be highly invested in being part of our wider team.

Your duties day to day:

  • Utilise a level of creativity and show interest in the look/design of work, feeling confident in suggesting any improvements
  • Deliver projects in line with both Client and internal targets
  • The ability to work from briefs and provide effective solutions
  • Work with Creative Design Team in all aspects of the artwork process from pitch/concept stage (working from rough scamps) to preparing artwork for press.
  • You will be able to approach work with a practical / commercial / usability head as well as a creative one, knowing where to push the boundaries and where to not
  • Strong understanding and skills in typographical excellence, image manipulation, conceptualization, aesthetic awareness etc.
  • Up-to-date picture of visual trends and styles affecting our industry.

•    Ensure that you follow briefs accurately
•    Ensure that the highest standards of artwork is achieved at all times

  • Establish the fastest, most practical and most time efficient way of setting up a document for press
  • Work comfortably with large format files
  • Produce accurate work in a pressurised environment
  • Work with black and white scamps and mac visuals
  • Effectively multi-task and manage/prioritise workloads
  • Foster co-operative, positive working relationships with all internal team

Skills and Qualifications Desired

You may have a college course in a design related subject, but competence and skill is what is considered as primary importance.

  • Competent computer skills in CS4 Indesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Quark
  • Used to producing high end retouching in CS4 Photoshop

What experience do we need?

Our creative artworker will have a proven level of relevant experience, either client side or within an agency.
