Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for an Art Director/Designer to join our journey and tell the future stories with us. The Art Director/Designer is responsible for directing the visual elements of a campaign for our clients to help them achieve their business goals. The ideal candidate is a fearless creative explorer. They will be able to not only direct the team to execute the vision, they will be able to get hands on and produce those elements as well. What You Would Be Doing

  • Developing and uncovering great ideas and making them look amazing by using traditional and digital media

  • Managing accounts and projects, working within budget and scheduling requirements, in a team environment

  • Creating custom illustrations or other graphic elements

  • Conferring with clients to determine objectives, budget, background information, and presentation approaches, styles, and techniques

  • Mentor junior art directors, designers, and direct freelance sources

  • Working with creative partner, the Creative Copywriter, to execute creative concepts

  • Participating in and bringing fresh, new ideas to the brainstorming sessions with the creative team

  • Keeping up with the digital trends to ensure our clients’ social media efforts are always cutting-edge

What You Need To Have

  • Previous agency experience

  • 5-7+ years of art directing experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Advertising, Design, Graphic Arts, or related field

  • Post-secondary training in Advertising, Design, Graphic Arts in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree

  • Passion for creating visual elements of campaigns

  • Experience working with a creative partner

  • Proficiency with PC and Mac

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Gmail, and Google Docs

  • Proficiency with Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Flash, and other programs

  • Ability to tell a story in an engaging way

  • Ability to master and switch between different brand voices

  • Ability to delegate and make decision on self-executing or following up

  • Excellent writing skills and a great attention to detail

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

  • Self-motivated, ability to deal with ambiguity, prioritize tasks, and meet daily deadlines

  • Strong organizational and project management skills

  • Above average problem-solving skills

  • A collaborative, participative team working style

  • Excellent written, verbal, and digital communication skills

  • A quick learner and willing to improve performance based on received feedback
