With the summer Olympics, Independence Day and a divisive political election around the corner, the brand decided it was time to celebrate all that is good about America. In one unifying act, the brand changed its name from Budweiser to America. Following the launch of the ‘Ameri-can’ design across can and bottle, Budweiser became the focus of 2,600+ unique media stories resulting in 1.6 BILLION earned media impressions worldwide - more impressions than their previous two Super Bowl 50 TV spots COMBINED.
